As I continue to try to enjoy this waiting part of our adoption journey I decided to have some fun while I'm at it. Today is the start of "The Call.. A Guessing Giveaway" and it's your chance to win one of two $25 gift cards from .. drum roll please.. TARGET!!
I kid you not!
In the comment section of this post put your name and the date and time (on the half hour) you think our next placement call will come. Whomever comes closest wins one $25 gift card from Target. Please make sure to check previous posts so you don't duplicate, as it's first come first serve. A second winner will be chosen at random from the posts. The contest runs until Sunday, November 9th at noon (Mountain Standard Time).
If we do not get The Call by the 9th of November, 2 posts will be chosen at random as winners. So remember to only choose dates between now and the 9th of November!! One post per day per person, please!! It's as easy as THAT!!

ReplyDeleteHi, I've been following your blog for a while. I found you from Innsane Womb. I haven't gotten it together yet to start my own blog (maybe someday). I have two kiddos (4yearoldgirl, 8monthboy). I'm excited for you to get your placement call. I have a twin sister and we were adopted at the age of 7years. My mom had two boys and had always wanted a girl to add to the family. and she got her call and it was twin girls! we were also fostered to adopt. We have an amazing loving family that we grew up in and I'm so thankful for loving parents and people who work to hard to give children a good life away from all the brokeness out there. My sister and I are a "success story" in this system and I kept meaning to look up our case worker and pay her a visit. Can't wait to see who God brings you! Parenting is the best thing that has happened to me! Children are amazing.
