Perfect Moment Monday
On Saturday we attended the Broncos Bunch Summer Kickoff at Mile High Stadium. It was way less crowded and not as hot as last year's event (yay!) and we met up with our close friends Kx4.

Perfect Moment Monday
Many of you may remember Maxie's Great Escape/Return last year. Our then 12 year old bully/lab mix ran like the wind and was on the lamb for a month. Over the weekend, he and Dakota (besties since '98) got to have fun in the sun and had a blast playing with their kids..

Perfect Moment Monday
With a business trip and snowmobile excursion back to back, DH was gone for nearly a week. The kids both missed him, especially SweetPea. She kept an eye out for him and was over the moon when he arrived home yesterday.

After two months of crazy weekends, we finally had a break. No visits mandated by the county, obligations or training. I officially declared Sunday PJ Day and we chilled.
And yes, those gargantuan feet are those of Little Buddy.

Perfect Moment Monday
Saturday we met up with some of Little Buddy and Sweet Pea's bio family at the children's museum. There are some very positive relationships (in this case) we are trying to maintain. It was so good to see them interact and you can almost feel the healing taking place.
Sunday, our family came over for a lovely Valentine's steak dinner. We haven't had a chance to see each other since Christmas (thanks to all our plagues) and it was so nice to visit. Although we couldn't get the Wii to fire up, it was a fantastic evening.
On our way to day care this morning, Little Buddy said it was a Perfect Family Weekend and that was my Perfect Moment.

Perfect Moment Monday
As I was pouring an exhausted Little Buddy into bed on Christmas night, I asked him what his favorite part of the holiday had been. He thought for a moment (it had been a marathon day) smiled and said, "Setting up my cars with GramPapa.. and we that we were twins on accident.."
