Tuesday Toot!!

This Tuesday Toot goes out to all of the amazing guests scheduled to appear on my new show (Adoption Angles) premiering on MomTV tomorrow night! I consider it a privilege to have met these amazing women touched by adoption and an honor for them to come on my show to share their stories. You all will get to meet these inspirational ladies in the coming months..

I'm truly humbled..

Tuesday Toot

Today's Tuesday Toot goes to Nantie's darling grand daughter for giving me the best backrub EV-AH over the weekend. See the paper towel? That was for drool.

No joke.

THANKS, DARLIN'!!!!! Love you!

Tuesday Toot

My Tuesday Toot is for not completely losing my mind when I got yet more news today that things aren't going our way (case wise). Nantie and I discussed and firmly believe we need to start preparing our hearts (and souls) for their departure. Both our gut feelings are they will be returned home.

DH, on the other hand, says he'll believe it when he sees it.

I'm praying hard for peace and have remained pretty darn calm (for me, anyway). I gotta admit I'm not as tough as I would like to be and yes, the tears have come.

I just can't help it.

Tuesday Toot

My Toot today is really a Group Toot, as it has taken a team effort. Jack and Jill have both officially gained weight! She had lost 2 pounds when they first arrived (because of the flu) but has now packed on 3! Jack has gained 4 pounds!! Yay!

Somehow I have managed to find it all but I'm okay with that. LOL.

My Toot I hand over to two humble and amazing veterans. How fortunate was I to get to wish my boss (one that I adore who also gave me away at our wedding) and a customer of ours (that came in unexpectedly) a happy Veteran's Day today? Both served in World War II and were taken aback when I thanked them. They are gracious gentleman that consider it an honor to have served our great nation.

No one deserves a "Toot" more than our greatest generation.

Tuesday Toot

I'm racking my brain trying to come up with something to toot my horn about this week. Honestly, I've been really bummed about the major stallage (hey, I made up a word!) in our adoption process but I haven't let it get the best of me. I'm not taking my frustrations out on DH or anyone else and trying to keep a smile-on.

Sometimes keeping your nose just above water level is all you can toot about.
