so cute. it reminds me of dancing on my dad's feet. my dad was an air force pilot and it was always a treat to look through the zipper pockets that ran down the outside of his legs. he kept little treats in there for me and my brothers.
An ongoing tale of our most excellent (and terrifying) adventure yet.. adoption via foster care. This is a journey Darling Husband and I started with Nantie ("Nanny-Auntie" - a blessing from above) in 2007. Although she moved in 2010, we miss her dearly and so appreciate all she did while here.
We also have a herd of rescued canines, fear the Lord and laugh a lot.
August, 2011: Seven amazing placements and a week after we were told LittleBuddy and SweetPea were available for us to adopt, my husband passed away unexpectedly.
April, 2012: I had the honor of adopting my darling 7 year old son (Little Buddy) and 3 1/2 year old sister (SweetPea). I awoke the following day a 40something, widowed single mommy... and couldn't of been happier.
In 1999, a year after my own mother passed away I found out I, myself, was an adopted county baby. Life has some ironic twists but we all seem to come Full Circle
This is our story.

What memories! I loved doing that with my dad, and I love doing it now with my kids. Beats a trip to the gym by a mile!
I added this link to Perfect Moment Mondays.
So sweet, thanks for sharing. Visiting from Lori's blog for PMM.
Oh what fun!
Each night when my dad came home, my sister and I would jump on his feet and make him walk around the house.
I was talking to a dad at a baseball game the other day and he said his kids do the same thing. What a great tradition!
Great moment. my son is actually another appendage as he wraps himself around my leg and I am forced to walk throughout the house with house
Yep, we did that too...but as one of 5 kids we didn't get the chance very often. Good to know that kids still do that. Great pic!
(S) loves to do that too and I am more than happy to oblige. It is always a great moment
oh yes...i remember those rides...can't wait until my little one is doing that...
