Ha! Our family is one of the families being profiled on tonight's episode of Home for the Holidays! How funny that you have this on your blog! Obviously, I have a heart for adoption and all the great work that the Dave Thomas Foundation has done, but to be completely honest, our experience with the producers of the show left us with a feeling that it's all about the ratings and not so much about the kids. That aspect was a bummer...they completely lied about a couple of parts of our story, taking the credit for the match between us and our kids. For me, it diminished all the hard work by so many social workers. You can read the full story on my blog if you're interested, but I still believe that others will be inspired to adopt due to some of the stories profiled on shows like this.
