My, What A Difference A Day Makes...

Monday Morning: Packed and ready to hit the road..

Tuesday Morning: Kickin' it on the couch..

Yesterday was huge and exhausting.. and JuneBug was a complete trooper. So much so it brings tears to my eyes. Bio fam was there, so was our worker, CASA and I thank the Good Lord Nantie was there, as well.

Yes, that little bit of pink on her foot is a cast.. one that goes all the way up to her bootie. She has to stay off of it for 4 (FOUR) weeks! We're still not sure how we're going to convince our crazy-active 2 1/2 year old of that. We have her in the stroller in the house and are contemplating a Radio Flyer wagon.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so glad things went so well -- on all fronts.

It will be a challenge to keep a 2 1/2 year old off of her feet for four weeks. At that age kids are SO active!

The wagon sounds like a great idea.

When my nephew was about a year and a half, he fell down the stairs and broke his leg. The doctor chose to cast both his legs so that there wouldn't be a difference in the growth, but dealing with a toddler in cast from ankle to waist (it wrapped around his belly) was a challenge. A wagon sounds like a perfect idea... her own personal limo.

Praying that she heals quickly.

Would a little four wheeled scooter (flat thing you use in PE class) work? She could sit on it and scoot around. Might be kinda fun too!

I can't even imagine trying to keep a 2 1/2 yr old still. Good luck!

Not sure about what to use to help her get around, but I'd suggest one of those little lap tables (like you'd use for your lap top computer) and give her plenty of crayons and coloring books and stickers.
