The Rest Of The Week..

Is going to be insane.

I meet the twins today with a slew of social workers. Tomorrow they want me to spend more time with them (go to the park, McDonalds, etc) and Friday they move in. Blam-o. It's not the way a transition is supposed to go but time is of the essence.

DH and I were up until the wee hours of the morning talking. This time, even he couldn't sleep. We're excited and scared to death. It's going to be a very traumatic time for the kids and we're hoping to dig deep and do our best by them. Nantie will probably be joining us on moving day.

A year ago this Friday was the first day of our 2 day training class. My what a difference a year makes.

Please keep us in your prayers!!

WOW! You guys are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

I think the fact that you are so concerned about doing this right and making sure they are ok speaks volumes about how you are actually going to be! You are going to do wonderfully...your hearts are so ready for this!!

How exciting!!!!! I can't wait to hear how it all goes.

If you have Craigslist in your area or Freecycle you should be able to find tons of things that you will need...and thrift stores.

You've waited so long for this. I'm happy the day is finally here.

Sending prayers and hugs and well wishes, and chocolate, to help calm your nerves of course.

You are going to be great! Just breath and start with baby steps. I am going to tell you what my mom told me when I was labor: Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and the things that are easy are seldom worthwhile.

Good luck, God Bless, and ENJOY!!!

Just take it hour by hour things well turn out well.

In time you can teach them about the Lord and all the good he does and how with his help they are now safe.

These children have no idea how lucky they are to be placed into such a loving, caring home - you will be a gift to them as much as they are a gift to you. It won't be perfect but it will be a life-changing event. God bless - you are in our prayers!
