I think a lot of breeds get such a bad name because one or two poorly raised pups react badly. Like children, when they are raised in a loving and caring environment they are loving and caring!
I also disagree. It is all in how they are raised. Hehehe, ever since I saw a 1 yr old Dobie run away from a 12 week old kitten, I know they are big marshmallows inside if they are treated correctly.
That picture is so sweet, it seriously made me all warm and fuzzy!
I hate that some dogs get a bad rap just because of their breed. I've met some seriously VICIOUS dogs who were teeny tiny. The little ones scare me just as much as the big ones! (The vicious ones that is)
I just about choked on my gum. This picture is hysterically sweet and amazingly precious. This is like...my fave picture ever. The dog's expression KILLS me.
An ongoing tale of our most excellent (and terrifying) adventure yet.. adoption via foster care. This is a journey Darling Husband and I started with Nantie ("Nanny-Auntie" - a blessing from above) in 2007. Although she moved in 2010, we miss her dearly and so appreciate all she did while here.
We also have a herd of rescued canines, fear the Lord and laugh a lot.
August, 2011: Seven amazing placements and a week after we were told LittleBuddy and SweetPea were available for us to adopt, my husband passed away unexpectedly.
April, 2012: I had the honor of adopting my darling 7 year old son (Little Buddy) and 3 1/2 year old sister (SweetPea). I awoke the following day a 40something, widowed single mommy... and couldn't of been happier.
In 1999, a year after my own mother passed away I found out I, myself, was an adopted county baby. Life has some ironic twists but we all seem to come Full Circle
This is our story.

You know, I have even become a fan of pit bulls... once I was educated about how they should be raised and treated. They really are sweet.
Adorable picture!
My sister had a wonderful Doberman in her first marriage. When she left the marriage, I think leaving the dog was one of the saddest things for her.
I agree with Kristin. It does depend on how they have been raised (and natural disposition, I'm sure).

Ugh, I love it. Thank you for making my evening!
This is quite possibly the sweetest picture ever!
That is the most adorable picture! What cuties!
That is the HAPPIEST doggie in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
